Background/History:
The morning of March 9th, a future weapon master was born. Her coming brightened the world of her mother. The rainy Sunday cleared even as it still poured. She frowned only to Tenten's chocolate brown hair. For she took after her father in all if most of her features. Tenten only graced them with a feminine beauty, that her mother referred to as heavenly. She named her for this; Tenten.
Growing up, Tenten always watched her mother. She was amused by every action she completed. Even at a young age, she knew she wanted to be like her. Her father was almost completely out of their family portrait and Tenten's eyes. She rarely saw him, but he still lived there. She remembered it well, because when he wasn't, her mother seemed to smile more often. It was forced however, and it irked her.
As she grew older, she started to remember more. And some of these memories would be forever painted within her scull. Screaming and arguing tried to hide behind a wooden door. She knew her parents were fighting once more. Trying to hide her eyes in her soaked sleeves, was when her plan began. Only at five she listened to this constant arguing and Tenten, being an only child endured it alone. This was the peak and it was only to die down as time passed.
Once she enrolled into her school, she saw less of her parents arguing. Had it been because of her and she wasn't there? Was it because her father left or simply because she was absent to hear it? Perhaps it was simply all three. She didn't like that. About a year into what would be first grade for her, she asked her mother about the ninja academy. Her mother, quite taken back about her daughter's sudden interest, asked her why. Tenten's response was childish, but she stuck with it. Just because... Her real intentions were hidden until she was old enough to realize it.
Entering the academy at the age of seven, her shy and scared feelings were covered by the confidence she wanted. Of course she was still young, but mature of knowing for her age. There, she met friends and she became happier. When she was younger, her mother kept her in the safe haven of her home.
During the academy, only few years later, her goals and dreams unleashed themselves and she began training everyday. Most of the time it was alone, but when her friends asked her, she couldn't refuse. She learned of the Great Tsunade and said that's it. She wanted to be like her. Tenten had not forgot of her immature dream of wanted to be like her mother, but she did not anymore. Getting bossed around by a man and yelled at did not suit her at all. Tenten became headstrong and decided that no man had the right to do what her father did. She wasn't conceived alone, but her father only seemed to act as she was a mistake. Thankfully, her father always disappeared for months at a time, leaving Tenten and her mother alone.
Her academy days proved to be difficult. But she conquered it, and graduated to the first ninja level, Genin. By a surprise, the graduates were placed in a three-man cell; four counting the sensei. Hyuuga Neji and Rock Lee are her teammates and Maito Gai is her sensei. Their first meeting, Tenten had nothing against her sensei and Lee. It was afterwords when she truly knew them. Neji and she quickly distanced their selves from their questionable teammates. Her first thoughts are Neji was simply, He's so cute!, but did not fawn over him. She proclaimed him as a genius and held him in high regard.
Despite the 'complications' in Team Gai, Tenten managed to learn to love her teammates. Even though their oddity is somewhat embarrassing, she respects them. Plus, she's not the only one who thinks so. Tenten and Neji share the same opinions regarding their other teammates.
During the first time in competing in the chuunin exams, Tenten was defeated in the preliminaries of the final rounds by the suna nin, Temari. That loss only made her stronger, however, and she learned ways around her wind techniques. When her team competed the second time, they all passed with flying colors. Thus, rising to the rank of chuunin at the age of fifteen.
RP Sample: Silent winds and moonlit paths sat in front of the warm array of colors that painted the night sky. The were rolling hills just on the outskirts of town, and one that particularly caught one's interest. It was the one with the softest grass and the one where the tired members of Team Gai lay.
Tenten was almost sprawled out. Her arms stretched as far as they could to the sides and her legs were slightly apart. She focused on the horizon at the pink's and orange's. She stole a glance at her tired teammates. They looked more at rest and together than she did. Lee, almost ready to jump up and start once more, the matter of fact. Tenten didn't care, though. Her arms were sore. Well, just about everything was sore and she was tired.
She gave in to her tired eyes and shut them for a split second. Awakening it seemed for almost a split second later, she heard her name. Quickly she opened her eyes all the way, but did not move. Tenten noticed that the sun had fully gone down and the air was cooler. She bit her cold lip and looked at her caller. "Im coming."
